Privacy Policy

Account information (name, email, password stored securely by our authentication provider); event details you enter in the questionnaire (event names, dates, guest counts, budgets, preferences, dietary needs and notes); the plans generated for you; payment information, which is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number; and basic usage and device data (pages visited, browser type) used to keep the service working and improve it.

To create your account, generate and save your event plans, process payments and manage subscriptions, provide support, send service-related emails (receipts, account notices), improve the product, and prevent fraud or abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

Your questionnaire answers are sent to an AI model provider to generate your plan. Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as health details beyond dietary needs, or financial account numbers) in free-text answers.

We share data only with service providers who help us run Occasion Thread (hosting and database, authentication, AI processing, Stripe for payments, email delivery), when required by law, or as part of a business transfer. These providers may only use your data to provide services to us.

We keep your account and saved plans while your account is active. You can delete individual plans at any time, or ask us to delete your account and associated data.

You can access, update or delete your information from your account, or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights; contact us to exercise them.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences.

Occasion Thread is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this policy and will post the new date at the top.
